Mystical path

Mysticism (from the Greek μυστικός, mystikos, ‘mysterious’) relates to the passionate pursuit of a personal union of the soul with God. The term also refers to the mystical doctrine underlying knowledge and personal experiences of states of consciousness beyond normal human perception. Although the mystical experience of a person in detail and intensity differences is it usually described in the same general characteristics:
1. In the mystical experience all ‘otherness’ disappears, and the world is experienced as a whole; the mystic tries to unite with the transcendent.
2. The mystic comes to the realization that his / her own subjective reality cannot exist separated from the object-oriented reality.
