Max Heindel

The Dane Max Heindel, pseudonym for Carl Louis von Grasshoff (23 July 1865 – 6 January 1919) was the founder of the Rosicrucian Movement The Rosicrucian Fellowship in Mount Ecclesia, Oceanside, California. He founded the movement in 1909 after he, in his own words, was initiated in 1907 into the mysteries of the Rosy Cross by an unknown high dignitary of this movement. His movement is a harmonious combination of Christian mysticism and esotericism.
The international center of this movement is located in Mount Ecclesia, California. The Lectorium Rosicrucianum is a Dutch Rosicrucian movement, which arose from that of Max Heindel.
