Abraham Maslow

Abraham Harold Maslow – “Abe” (Brooklyn, April 1, 1908 – Menlo Park, June 8, 1970) was an American clinical psychologist. His parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia. Maslow was initially a supporter of behaviorism, but developed in the 60’s humanistic psychology, also known as the Third Force Psychology or the theory of increasing need. Maslow sees man as a uniquely stimulated individual with a wide range of motivations. To develop himself as healthy personality at least some innate basic human needs must have been satisfied.
